Keeping the Watershed Clean

Allowing sprinklers to over-water your lawn or to spray onto sidewalks, driveways, or hardscapes leads to run-off that can pollute our watershed. Irrigation run-off runs into our storm drains. Unlike indoor water, outdoor water is not treated to remove pollutants. All the water that runs down our streets and into storm drains flows into local creeks and eventually to the ocean.
